One Thermostat That Works on Any System You Install

HVAC installs rarely happen under ideal conditions. Contractors may be working with multi-stage equipment, add-on accessories, older homes with brick walls, or finished spaces where running new wire is difficult or impossible. But most thermostats are designed around a narrow set of system configurations, forcing contractors to stock multiple models or work around wiring limitations. The result is added time, cost, and complexity on jobs that should be straightforward.

The Boldr Universal Thermostat is built to cover virtually every residential and commercial HVAC system in the U.S. Mini-splits, heat pumps, VRF systems, central ducted systems, boilers, fan coils, and mixed-system installs all work with one platform. The Display and Base design lets you place controls where they make sense for the job. On jobs where running new thermostat wire through finished walls isn't an option, the wireless communication between the base and display gives you the flexibility to install the base directly at the equipment and mount the display anywhere in the home, with no new wire pulls required.

The terminals on the Universal Thermostat are assignable, which means you can configure the stat for whatever system and accessories you are installing without swapping hardware. The thermostat has capabilities to monitor system behavior, accessories, and supply and return temperatures at the equipment in real time. That data can feed into the Boldr Pro platform, so your team can see unit health, track performance degradation, and catch issues before a customer calls. When something does come up, you already know what the system has been doing before you send a tech.

On the business side, Boldr Pro gives contractors a set of tools that keep working for you after the install is done. Your logo and contact details show up inside the customer app on every system you install, so your name stays in front of the customer without any ongoing effort. When system health data points to a maintenance need, the platform helps you make a data-backed service recommendation instead of a cold call. That shift from reactive to proactive is where maintenance plan penetration goes up and nuisance callbacks come down. Boldr Pro will also include a dedicated account manager, live technical support, and onboarding training for your team, backed by a 5-year pro warranty on hardware.
