    HAVE QUESTIONS?

  • How do I install a Kelvin?

    accordion-icon

Kelvin can be DIY installed in under 5 minutes with all screws and guides included in the box. For USA clients, we include dry-wall anchors for easy installation without any tools required. If you are not handy, no problem! You can get in touch with any handyman or local installer for quick and easy installation.

  • Where should I install a Kelvin?

    accordion-icon

We recommend installing the Kelvin facing high areas of use. If it’s your home office, then the ideal positioning will be facing your work desk. This allows you to feel comfortable at lower air temperatures and maximise the energy saving capabilities of infrared heat.

  • How many Kelvin heaters do I need?

    accordion-icon

That depends entirely on the size of the room you wish to heat and your ceiling height. We recommend the Kelvin Large heater for larger rooms of 10m²-19m² (107 sqft - 204 sqft) and the Kelvin Standard heater for rooms under 9m² (96 sqft) assuming a standard 2.4m (7.8ft) ceiling height.

Very quiet and warm

I love the heater, but I need more guidance with the app. I will need to figure out when I can call. The videos didn’t help.

Performance Exceeded Expectations!

I purchased one large Kelvin for a bedroom/office, and one small Kelvin for the adjacent entryway on the first floor of a three story home. (The first floor has inadequate duct work and was consistently 3-5 degrees cooler than the 2nd and 3rd floors.)
-I was optimistically skeptical, having never used a far-infrared heat panel, that the panels would work.
-The performance has exceeded my expectation.
-The quality of the panels is very good and they look nice on the walls (white panels on white walls).
-It took a couple of days to dial in the schedule and temp, for my home I have the Kelvins off from 9pm until 4am. I found that it takes 1-2 hours to initially raise the temperature from about 64 degrees (F) to 68 degrees.
-Based on my Nest Thermostat History, the whole house HVAC usage has dropped by 25% to as much as 50% any given day. I expect my energy usage to have decreased even more since both the small and large Kelvin wattage is 1,200 vs 1,500 for the Dyson convection heater that was in use before.
-The initial wifi hook up was a challenge, here are the steps I took in case anyone else has issues:
First I had to make sure my phone was connecting to the same router/ access point as the Kelvin. Next I turned off 5Ghz on the router because the default for the phone was 5Ghz. Lastly I had to remove all special characters and reduce the complexity of my wifi password (try this first if it applies to you!). Once the two Kelvins connected, I was able to reactivate 5Ghz and all access points. The connection has not had any issues since.
-Hope this helps anyone considering and/or setting up a Kelvin!

Works perfectly and I love the sleek modern design

After 2 weeks so far no issues. I'm in California and it's cold in the high-desert this time of year. Might be adding more soon.
