Maybe it’s because we use Fahrenheit, but if it’s set to 72° the room gets to 78°. Offsetting the sensor makes it equally inaccurate up or down. This system looks pretty, but it is unusable. We bought it for our babies room because of the smart functionality, but it was a proper failure.
The exact same heater (by exact, I mean exact to the look and specs) can be found on Amazon by multiple sellers for $25 USD or less. But, they can't be controlled by an app. I do like the app functionality but it is quite buggy. The temp sensor needs to be adjusted often. And, on the bold site it says Fara can be controlled by "Hey Google". Google doesn't seem to be aware of this. To sum up, I give them credit for the app development and modification. Maybe it justifies the markup, maybe not. I give Boldr two thumbs up on marketing.
Bought this to provide a bit of warmth to a 2 car garage when working in there during the winter. Does a great job for such a tiny unit. I’ll be getting a few more for other rooms.
I liked everything about this heater except for the fact that you need an app to control it. They broke my golden rule keep it simple.
