On Android, linking Home is problematic due to bugs on both Google and Boldr side. The way you use a connection to website doesn't allow stored password lto be used or saved.
Easy install…no issues. Scheduling has had some hiccups. I’ll be contacting customer support for assistance.
Works great 👍
Advertising says it does. I does not. Maybe they will do it later. Maybe not. I uninstalled my Sensibo, which works fine with Google Home by the way, and installed Klima on the strength of that feature, which is currently not supported.
Hi Brad, thanks for sharing your feedback. Really happy to confirm that Google Home was in beta for select users and will be available to the public in the coming days. I really hope you enjoy your experience and would consider upgrading the review :)
So far I've had a positive with the Boldr Thermostat. Unboxing, manufacturing quality and set up experience. What made me reduce my rating by 1 star was the expectation that the window open feature was going to be included in the shipped version of code and the ability to keep the display on or for it to sense someone in front of it then turn the display on automatically. I've installed it at an Air BnB property and need it to be as intuitive as possible since not all guest have the same tech expertise/intuition. Also, since you need to tap the bottom of the panel to get it to turn which is not self evident, an always on or motion sensor would be helpful. Outside of the temperature and metric or imperial settings, I'd also like to see a settings restriction to just the app to prevent guests from making unwanted changes. I've wall mounted mine. The magnetic hold feels good. I'm a bit concerned it may not be good enough with someone that may be slightly aggressive with their touch making the unit fall to the ground. I'm hoping not to accidentally test it's drop durability. I may test out putting a small drop of glue to secure it to the wall mount.
