Swing Mode (Auto-Swing)

When swing mode is activated, the horizontal louvres oscillate continuously up and down — sweeping airflow across a range of angles. This distributes conditioned air more evenly across the room than a fixed louvre position. Auto-swing is useful for large or deep rooms where a single fixed direction would leave some areas under-served.

Why is my mini-split swing not working?

If the louvres are not moving when swing mode is activated, check that the swing button on the remote was pressed correctly (some brands require a long press). A reset (breaker off 30 seconds, on) occasionally clears a stuck louvre motor control issue.

Should I leave the louvres pointed straight out or angled down in cooling mode?

Angled downward is usually preferable in cooling mode.
