Kelvin is backed by years of research and development. An essential part of the R&D process was ensuring Kelvin is certified to the EN 60335-2-30 and EN 60335-1 standards. These certifications ensure Kelvin meets the highest European safety standards. All models also have an IP44 rating allowing them to be used safely in bathrooms and kitchens, where resistance to water splashes and moisture is needed.   • Where should I install a Kelvin?

    We recommend installing the Kelvin facing high areas of use. If it’s your home office, then the ideal positioning will be facing your work desk. This allows you to feel comfortable at lower air temperatures and maximise the energy saving capabilities of infrared heat.

  • How many Kelvin heaters do I need?

    That depends entirely on the size of the room you wish to heat and your ceiling height. We recommend the Kelvin Large heater for larger rooms of 10m²-19m² (107 sqft - 204 sqft) and the Kelvin Standard heater for rooms under 9m² (96 sqft) assuming a standard 2.4m (7.8ft) ceiling height.

Replaced my space heaters 🥰

Note: shipping wasn’t communicated well, as in I got no update and was concerned, but customer service responded to email and assured it was in process. Next day it shipped but was split into two shipments [I got the starter with 3] but they all made it and all was super simple to setup and activate. [ I saw negative reviews on setup / app but it was image guided and extremely intuitive except one part to click a button a few times, it only needed one click.]

I have space heaters in a few small rooms for guests, and replaced them for these for three reasons.
1. Preheat - I can turn this on from the app before guests arrive to ensure a good temperature
2. Safety - when the guest leaves I can turn it off or schedule it to turn off by checkout via the app so it’s not consuming / no risk without going to the property.
3. Space and design - the space heater we on wheels and felt tacky, so having this mounted gives the space back and can’t tip over.

In the small space it’s epic. In the bigger shop it takes longer to preheat, like two hours so keep in mind but it is good.

Worst experience ever

First off, I set up my shipment to be sent to an alternate address because I was going to be out of town for two weeks, and the BOLDR representative confirmed that my shipment was going to be delivered to the address I had requested. My shipment was delivered to the wrong address, and my shipment was separated into three separate packages, which made it almost impossible to create any special delivery instructions because they were all under the same tracking number. When I put an initial request into the local regional Delivery carrier (DHL) they did not follow my delivery instructions. The first instructions I gave them were to put package behind the side gate. They left the package on the front porch in a high traffic, high theft area. I had to cancel work and drive six hours to pick up the package thinking it was going to be the entire shipment. Turns out the rest of the shipment was to be delivered at a later date. I could not cancel a second day of work to make another six hour trip. so I made another attempt to communicate to DHL and requested they put the remaining part of the delivery on a vacation hold until Jan 2, which they did not follow and I guess they delivered the second package. I have no idea what was delivered and have no idea if the package is still there. As it was delivered multiple days ago, and I have been out of town for work through the holidays. I have no idea what was in that second package, but I can only confirm one portion of my order arrived and it was the Kelvin ( no thermostat or sensor in the package). When I reached out to customer service at BOLDR, I did not hear a response for days. Extremely disappointed with the lack of care both with the company and the shipping carrier. I will have to see after January 2 when I return home, what actually arrived and what might have been stolen off my front porch. And will have to see what type of response I get from BOLDR. At this point, I would like to return everything. I want to be done with this. I would like to return whatever I end up with. I have no idea what has arrived and what has not and or what has been stolen off my front porch. Big thumbs down

Excellent design, and heats well.

I like the Kelvin very much. My only feedback is there seems to (frequently) be some lag in scheduling between the app, the Klima themostat, and the Kelvin. There have been times when I come home to find the unit on, when it’s not scheduled to do so until much later. I also very much look forward to the Apple HomeKit Integration.
